In the 23rd minute of the match Sacramento got a corner. Rodoxmaster69's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Geovanni Borges ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sacramento's corner Geovanni Borges fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenny Kock quite easily take care of the ball. Rodoxmaster69's Kenny Kock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Pirani in the 25th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Sacramento's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Medeiros came free, but Juvenal Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Ernani de Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodoxmaster69 and the Sacramento players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Rodoxmaster69 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Gilson Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacramento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilson Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilson Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Kock having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. In the 57th minute, Gilson Pirani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernani de Senna got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Rodoxmaster69 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ernani de Senna hit a great ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Léo Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sacramento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sacramento's zone, Wanderson de Salles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Azevedo came out of the goal and Wanderson de Salles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juvenal Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Medeiros in the 69th minute of play. Kenny Kock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Jeferson Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Juvenal Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodoxmaster69's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
