Elder Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Guilherme de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Atletico Malagoli SC's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Monteiro came free, but Guilherme de Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Monteiro in the 30th minute of the match. Emanuel Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elder Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Monteiro in the 37th minute of play forced Atletico Malagoli SC's goalkeeper Guilherme de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Delfim de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JATOBÁ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guilherme de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Emanuel Monteiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme de Medeiros having to interfere.

In the 51st minute, Elder Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Atletico Malagoli SC's goalkeeper Guilherme de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder Monteiro. In the 65thth minute of the game Emanuel Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Malagoli SC's Guilherme de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletico Malagoli SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! The corner ended in Alessandro Souto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletico Malagoli SC's Guilherme de Medeiros did a great save. After some careless play in the Atletico Malagoli SC defense, Elder Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guilherme de Medeiros. The Atletico Malagoli SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guilherme de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Atletico Malagoli SC's goalkeeper Guilherme de Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elder Monteiro. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Malagoli SC's zone, Emanuel Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme de Medeiros came out of the goal and Emanuel Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvaldo Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elder Monteiros short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Guilherme de Medeiros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. JATOBÁ F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
