Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) Nagana FC's Marcel Paulista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Nagana FC's Tião Vidal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Oswaldo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tião Vidal in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Zeca Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pezzato FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeca Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pezzato FC booed when Nagana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley de Salles struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Waldir da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pezzato FC. In the 20th minute, Tião Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeca Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Zeca Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nagana FC's Waldir da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley de Salles in the 31st minute of play. If Lino do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nagana FC's zone, Zeca Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldir da Cunha came out of the goal and Zeca Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Nagana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino do Vale came free, but Waldir da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino do Vale was the one to do the kick off. Nicolas Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute of the match José Augusto de Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Cardozo skillfully saved the ball. Nicolas Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Waldir da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lino do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Alcântara in the 65th minute of play forced Nagana FC's goalkeeper Waldir da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcel Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Cardozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christiano de Azevedo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Zeca Fernandes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano de Azevedo in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Nagana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Nagana FC's Waldir da Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Nagana FC from getting a goal against them. After 86 minutes Nagana FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lino do Vale who took care of the corner kick. Lino do Vale made a great header on Pezzato FC's corner, it was just that Nagana FC's Waldir da Cunha managed to reach the ball for a save. Marcel Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Oswaldo Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Pezzato FC's Nicolas Alcântara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Lino do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldir da Cunha having to interfere. Nagana FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pezzato FC had controlled the match.
