The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Costa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Villa Nova's Luiz Furlan in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. After 96 minutes, Pedro Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Clube Sargento and the Villa Nova players grew even worse after the yellow card.
