Gilson Brodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute Cláudio Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilson Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vágner Dionísio went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iuri Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute.
