Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Massa in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Mello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Afonsinho Mello came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Porradinha Futebol Clube's Davi Couto. But to his dismay, Davi Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 34thth minute of the game Michel Massa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leverkusen FC's Afonsinho Mello was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Porradinha Futebol Clube's Mário Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Porradinha Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Walmir de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário Veloso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Leverkusen FC's zone, Davi Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonsinho Mello came out of the goal and Davi Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Afonsinho Mello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Massa in the 51st minute of play. The Porradinha Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário Veloso should have stopped the shot. Walmir de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leverkusen FC's Jerônimo Oliveira in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Porradinha Futebol Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
