Cruxeiro AD's Iuri Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Linhares in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Ceresso in the 17th minute of play forced Cruxeiro AD's goalkeeper Iuri Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Supino FC's Hernani Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iuri Romero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iuri Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 78 minutes of play, Cruxeiro AD's Cláudio Dionísio made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cruxeiro AD getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Luan Neto hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Jorge Ceresso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iuri Romero, 1-5. 89 minutes into the match, Emanuel de Medeiros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iuri Romero, 1-6. When Aloísio Sanches fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruxeiro AD's protests and gave Aloísio Sanches a yellow card for diving instead. 95 minutes into the match, Emanuel de Medeiros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iuri Romero, 1-7. The Cruxeiro AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Supino FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
