Matías Paraíba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Jailson Velasco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Stants Germany's goalkeeper Jailson Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho Severo. Gilson Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evandro Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Matías Paraíba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jailson Velasco. Stants Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Paraíba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jailson Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Washington Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilson Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 25th minute, Zé Roberto Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Diamantino Pires came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Woller FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Pires couldn't finish the play. Woller FC's Diamantino Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stants Germany's Washington Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Lucas in the 47th minute of play forced Woller FC's goalkeeper Gilson Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diamantino Pires was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Evandro Lucas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilson Brodel, 2-3. Diamantino Pires scored 3-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jailson Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilson Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington Pereira in the 69th minute of the match. With his leg Gilson Brodel managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Stants Germany's Evandro Lucas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Inácio de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Stants Germany booed when Woller FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inácio de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilson Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Lima went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Gilson Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Pereira in the 89th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Stants Germany's Gilson Brodel threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Washington Pereira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Washington Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson Brodel was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
