Afonsinho Mello made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Hernani Mattos sent off a good shot on target. Raimundo Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Afonsinho Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Leverkusen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Cardoso to maneuver through the defense.
