The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Rezende got free with Tarcisio Carvalho in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Cauan Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute of the match Rubinho Mineiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdomiro Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdomiro Rosa during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 played minutes Los Panchos got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Rosa. 71 minutes into the match, Los Panchos's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Sousa came free, but Tarcisio Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Panchos's Luiz Fernando Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edvaldo Terra fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INDUSTRIAL FC's protests and gave Edvaldo Terra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Panchos booed when INDUSTRIAL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Carvalho in the 87th minute of play forced INDUSTRIAL FC's goalkeeper Valdomiro Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Cafu Carvalho put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Valdomiro Neto. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Panchos fans cheered their team off the field, for while INDUSTRIAL FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
