The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Soeiro got free with Cleiton Campidelis in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Aloísio Soeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cleiton Campidelis. Ouricana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aloísio Soeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Enio Novaes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cleiton Campidelis. Ouricana FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Trevisan during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erasmo Trevisan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th match minute, Guirapa SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Benê Barbosa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evaristo Quadros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luiz de Mendonça's late challenge caught a Ouricana FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz de Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. Aloísio Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleiton Campidelis having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aloísio Soeiro got free with Cleiton Campidelis in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Furlan in the 35th minute of play forced Guirapa SC's goalkeeper Evaristo Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aloísio Soeiro came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Guirapa SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Soeiro couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Ouricana FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho França. Aloísio Soeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Cleiton Campidelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Furlan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Elivélton Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ouricana FC booed when Guirapa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aloísio Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Cleiton Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guirapa SC. Elivélton Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleiton Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Soeiro in the 71st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aloísio Soeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleiton Campidelis was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Abraão got free with Evaristo Quadros in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Soeiro in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleiton Campidelis saved Ouricana FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Elivélton Andrade sped through Ouricana FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cleiton Campidelis. 92 minutes into the game, Guirapa SC's Aloísio Soeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cleiton Campidelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Cleiton Campidelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elivélton Andrade went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Guirapa SC were the better team. Guirapa SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
