Angelo Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Moura in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Eliseu Veloso threw the ball into play from the sideline. Açougue Santa Maria's Júlio Félix quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Açougue Santa Maria's Marcel Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Ventania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Secco to maneuver through the defense. Mao Xun Jun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Sotero having to interfere. The supporters of Ventania booed when Açougue Santa Maria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Ventania's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Eger came free, but Juninho Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Açougue Santa Maria's Angelo Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Moura in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvaldo Velasco in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Sotero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Açougue Santa Maria's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Moura came free, but Angelo Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Onur Ali Pekiner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juninho Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ventania's goalkeeper Juninho Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cauã Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Açougue Santa Maria's Onur Ali Pekiner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Belmiro Paraíba in the 80 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Ortiz in the 84th minute of play forced Ventania's goalkeeper Juninho Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cláudio Moura struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Angelo Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ventania. Juninho Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cauã Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Guedes having to interfere.
