Spectators: 5115 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 115) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cláudio Moura started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, BICHO SOLTO's Lino Coutinho got control of the ball when Cláudio Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. BICHO SOLTO's Rafael Diniz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lino Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Velasco in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Edvaldo Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BICHO SOLTO's Lino Coutinho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cláudio Moura's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Lino Coutinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvaldo Velasco in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Coutinho saved BICHO SOLTO from getting behind. Edvaldo Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Lino Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto de Amorim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ventania's Juninho Guedes. Juninho Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, BICHO SOLTO's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Velasco came free, but Lino Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Moura who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Lino Coutinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ventania booed when BICHO SOLTO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldir Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Lino Coutinho managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Ventania's Cláudio Moura fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lino Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Velasco in the 41st minute of the match. Edvaldo Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the game, Cláudio Moura lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Lino Coutinho. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BICHO SOLTO booed when Ventania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juninho Guedes came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by BICHO SOLTO's Carlos Alberto de Amorim. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind BICHO SOLTO's goalkeeper Lino Coutinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Ventania fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Ventania's Cláudio Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 67 minutes, Cláudio Moura made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. BICHO SOLTO's Lino Coutinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Juvenal Dias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Cláudio Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, BICHO SOLTO's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Moura came free, but Lino Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to BICHO SOLTO getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Juvenal Dias hit a great ball. Lino Coutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvaldo Velasco's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Edvaldo Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Coutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvaldo Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Ventania's Cláudio Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Ventania players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
