Cléberson Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Caraibas's zone, Roberto Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Fernandez came out of the goal and Roberto Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Isaltino Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luís Moura during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Roberto Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaltino Fernandez was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Túlio Pinheiro made a kick off. Caraibas's Dé Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Túlio Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléberson Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Roberto Brasil notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Caraibas's Isaltino Fernandez. Isaltino Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Família Araujo FC's goalkeeper Cléberson Mandrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cléberson Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Pinheiro in the 72nd minute of the match. Vitório Moreno took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cléberson Mandrak. Cléberson Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Família Araujo FC's Cléberson Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Moreno in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luís Moura in the 79th minute of play forced Família Araujo FC's goalkeeper Cléberson Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Paulo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Vicente Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaltino Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Brasil went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With 92 minutes on the clock, Oséas Figueiredo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Caraibas a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raúl Peres, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Família Araujo FC's Cléberson Mandrak. 2-3. In the 97th minute, Família Araujo FC's Emanuel Trancoso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaltino Fernandez. Isaltino Fernandez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Família Araujo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
