Sandrinho Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Brasil in the 4th minute. Família Araujo FC's Roberto Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesinha Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Brasil got free with Sandrinho Abreu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Hoffmann in the 19th minute of play forced Família Araujo FC's goalkeeper Cléberson Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Família Araujo FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tiaguinho Freire hit a great ball. Emanuel do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Família Araujo FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fellipe Schmidt hit a great ball. Roberto Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandrinho Abreu having to make a save. Cleiton Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Clube Atlético Pr getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cesinha Macedo hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Cleiton Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Brasil got free with Sandrinho Abreu in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tiaguinho Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Araujo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiaguinho Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, one of Clube Atlético Pr:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Atlético Pr. The goalkeeper, Sandrinho Abreu, was totally fooled by Família Araujo FC's Roberto Brasil, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laércio Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Brasil struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Sandrinho Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Família Araujo FC. Sandrinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Freire in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Pr's Felippe Machado got a free kick in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Dinei Hoffmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Cléberson Mandrak however easily saved by the left post. Roberto Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandrinho Abreu having to make a save. When Cleiton Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Família Araujo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleiton Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Tiaguinho Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Abreu having to interfere. Sandrinho Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandrinho Abreu came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Família Araujo FC's Roberto Brasil. But to his dismay, Roberto Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Fellipe Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sandrinho Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Família Araujo FC's Tiaguinho Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandrinho Abreu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cleiton Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Abreu having to interfere. Sandrinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Maranhense in the 92nd minute of the match. Roberto Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sandrinho Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Freire in the 95th minute of play. Família Araujo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
