After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Pr's zone, Marquinhos Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandrinho Abreu came out of the goal and Marquinhos Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandrinho Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LaranjoBH were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Clube Atlético Pr's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Naldo da Rocha took the corner. LaranjoBH's Naldo da Rocha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sandrinho Abreu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes into the game, Célio Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sandrinho Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marquinhos Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Célio Pernambucano took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandrinho Abreu. Sandrinho Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Laércio Toledo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Anderson Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Pr. Sandrinho Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Macedo in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Pernambucano in the 25th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Pr's goalkeeper Sandrinho Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marquinhos Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandrinho Abreu having to make a save. 27 minutes into the game, Célio Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Sandrinho Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geovani Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovani Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovani Negri hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Dinei Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandrinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Negri in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Célio Pernambucano to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for LaranjoBH! Anderson Ramos went to the wrong direction when Emanuel do Vale was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Toledo in the 54th minute of play forced LaranjoBH's goalkeeper Anderson Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Pr's Laércio Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anderson Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anderson Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Hoffmann in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Célio Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marquinhos Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Toledo in the 69th minute of play forced LaranjoBH's goalkeeper Anderson Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Célio Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Abreu having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Marquinhos Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LaranjoBH and the Clube Atlético Pr players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, LaranjoBH's Marquinhos Macedo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Célio Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sandrinho Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LaranjoBH. When Geovani Negri was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Geovani Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, LaranjoBH's Célio Pernambucano got a free kick in the 89th minute. Célio Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Sandrinho Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 93 in the game by Marquinhos Macedo from a close distance when the talented Sandrinho Abreu managed to make a qualified save. Clube Atlético Pr's players were relieved. Marquinhos Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caio Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sandrinho Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caio Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. LaranjoBH's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
