The Família Araujo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléberson Mandrak should have stopped the shot. Tiaguinho Freire struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Paulo Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Família Araujo FC. Nelsinho Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Mandrak having to interfere. Paulo Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Freire in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Família Araujo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Severo to maneuver through the defense. If Nelsinho Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute of the match, Nelsinho Lago tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cléberson Mandrak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute Roberto Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
