After 19 played minutes Caraibas got a freekick which was hit by Dé Queiroz. After having played for 22 minutes, Túlio Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caraibas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Túlio Pinheiro went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lucas Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Fernandez having to interfere. A collision led to Caraibas getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Vitório Moreno hit a great ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Lucas Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caraibas's Isaltino Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaltino Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Mota went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Vitório Moreno hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Lucas Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Mota was the one to do the kick off. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Solar Paulistano fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caraibas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
