Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cláudio Sabóia took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luiz Fernando Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Freire in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Catakeamain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Pena to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Valadares got free with Luiz Fernando Lago in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Catakeamain's Rubinho Pena got a free kick in the 16th minute. Luiz Fernando Lago came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Capybara SS's Rony Valadares. But to his dismay, Rony Valadares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Freire in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fernando Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thiago Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Donato Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jano Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Capybara SS's zone, Donato Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Medeiros came out of the goal and Donato Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. Hudson Paiva tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Luiz Fernando Lago. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 54th minute. In the 57th match minute, Catakeamain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Pena to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fernando Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cleiton Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luiz Fernando Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Thiago Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Catakeamain. The supporters of Capybara SS booed when Catakeamain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Thiago Medeiros successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 89 minutes, Cláudio Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catakeamain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilton Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilton Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Capybara SS booed when Catakeamain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
