Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yan Duarte made the kick off which started today's match. If Samuel Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cláudio Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fabiano Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Culés booed when Catakeamain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Yan Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catakeamain's Luiz Fernando Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabiano Vianna came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Catakeamain's Nilton Montenegro. But to his dismay, Nilton Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 28 minutes, Serginho Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catakeamain and the Culés players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Catakeamain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Costa to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Duarte in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Fernando Lago saved Catakeamain from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Dantas during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Culés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Dantas to maneuver through the defense. In the 47thth minute of the game Yan Duarte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catakeamain's Luiz Fernando Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Catakeamain players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Culés were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cláudio Sabóia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Culés booed when Catakeamain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Catakeamain's Luiz Fernando Lago got control of the ball when Samuel Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Catakeamain's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Yan Duarte scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Fernando Lago, making the score, 1-3. In the 65th minute Cláudio Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Cláudio Sabóia notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Culés's Fabiano Vianna. Fabiano Vianna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 74 in the game by Yan Duarte from a close distance when the talented Luiz Fernando Lago managed to make a qualified save. Catakeamain's players were relieved. When Rubinho Pena came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Catakeamain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Pena couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Yan Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fernando Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Meireles charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicolas Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Lago made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Samuel Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. The Catakeamain supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Culés's performance. The match ended with a win for Culés.
