Culés's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Paulo Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yan Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Thiago Medeiros made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Culés left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Capybara SS.
