Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni de Moraes to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Club dei Fratelli's zone, Doni de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antônio Carlos Leme came out of the goal and Doni de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Roberto Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60thth minute of the game Zé Roberto Sousa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaguary EC's Jacinto Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Matías Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club dei Fratelli's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguary EC the free kick. After 66 played minutes Club dei Fratelli got a freekick which was hit by Matías Fonseca. Joaquim Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, Club dei Fratelli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. If Ernani de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
