Rafinha da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Alfredão Moraes made a huge save. If Willian Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Ian Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Palmeira in the 8th minute of play. Rafinha da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Moraes having to interfere. Alfredão Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Barreto's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Willian Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aloísio Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ian Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes AD Academia Real got a freekick which was hit by Naldo Barreto. Ian Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aloísio Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Paulista came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by MANCHESTER JOHNS F.C.'s Ian Palmeira. But to his dismay, Ian Palmeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Pedro Bezerra made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, AD Academia Real's goalkeeper Aloísio Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ian Palmeira. Willian Maciel might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Paulista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Maciel ran back to his position shaking his head. Willian Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Paulista having to interfere. Aloísio Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER JOHNS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Bezerra came free, but Alfredão Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Pedro Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Moraes having to interfere. Alfredão Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Bezerra in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MANCHESTER JOHNS F.C.'s Narciso Quintal got a free kick in the 74th minute. MANCHESTER JOHNS F.C.'s Ian Palmeira was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rafinha da Silva struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Alfredão Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Academia Real.
