An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Sabóia in the 9th minute of play forced Club dei Fratelli's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edu Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Corrêa during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudinho Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Águia Branca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. Águia Branca FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Antônio Carlos Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Machado's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Edu Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Paulo Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club dei Fratelli's Antônio Carlos Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Sabóia in the 86th minute of play. Zé Paulo Sabóia got in the 89th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Antônio Carlos Leme handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Antônio Carlos Leme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edu Machado's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Zé Paulo Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Claudinho Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
