He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd minute, Diguinho de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, AD Academia Real's Válbson Kohler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 24th minute, Cléberson de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 played minutes Rafinha da Silva rounded Caveira's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. A collision led to Caveira getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Thomás Albuquerque hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Válbson Kohler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denílson Veiga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jeremias Loureiro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Joel Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Caveira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Meireles couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Joel Meireles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomás Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Paulista having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Rafinha da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AD Academia Real's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as AD Academia Real's Zé Pedro Bezerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denílson Veiga. That made the score 4-0 after 45 minutes of play. When Jeremias Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the AD Academia Real fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Loureiro couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Meireles to make the kick off. If Cléberson de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Meireles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloísio Paulista having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cléberson de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caveira's supporters rose to their feet, but Cléberson de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AD Academia Real's Aloísio Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Meireles in the 67th minute of play. Thomás Albuquerque's late challenge caught a AD Academia Real's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomás Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Caveira got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Albuquerque. Rafinha da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Veiga having to interfere. Rafinha da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Rafinha da Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd match minute, AD Academia Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Joel Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Meireles struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Aloísio Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caveira. After having played for 87 minutes, Thomás Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caveira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Meireles struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Aloísio Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caveira. 90 minutes into the match, Thomás Albuquerque dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aloísio Paulista, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Meireles in the 99th minute of play forced AD Academia Real's goalkeeper Aloísio Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AD Academia Real support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
