In the 10th minute, Vivaldo Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Aloísio Paulista. AD Academia Real's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 30 minutes of play, Spock Futebol Clube's Edson Quadros made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aloísio Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd match minute, AD Academia Real was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naldo Barreto to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by José Paulo da Costa in the 34th minute really tested Aloísio Paulista's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Vivaldo Quadros heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spock Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Roberto Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edson Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloísio Paulista having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Spock Futebol Clube's Vivaldo Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aloísio Paulista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edson Quadros made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Silvério Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo da Costa didn't quite understand what happened when in the 54 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Rafinha da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Falcão having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Quadros in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Paulista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Quadros in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Paulista saved AD Academia Real from getting behind. Rafinha da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Roberto Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Bezerra in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Edson Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aloísio Paulista. AD Academia Real's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edson Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 82 minutes into the match, AD Academia Real's Rafinha da Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Falcão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Pedro Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Roberto Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AD Academia Real. Edson Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edson Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Spock Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Edson Quadros. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spock Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Roberto Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Spock Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Roberto Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafinha da Silva. Aloísio Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafinha da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Falcão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
