Erik Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ortiz in the 5th minute of play. Vito Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Brodel having to interfere. Vito Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vito Ortiz went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Erik Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ortiz in the 18th minute of play. When Borala FC's Vito Ortiz in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hinterhoff Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. When Clóvis Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hinterhoff Futebol Clube's protests and gave Clóvis Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hinterhoff Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Clóvis Guerra hit a great ball. Erik Brodel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Borala FC's Vito Ortiz. But to his dismay, Vito Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Rodriguinho Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hinterhoff Futebol Clube's Erik Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Ortiz in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Hinterhoff Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Cardozo scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Ortiz in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alexandre Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Brodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vito Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Erik Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Vito Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Brodel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Erik Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vito Ortiz went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Ortiz in the 54th minute of play forced Hinterhoff Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Erik Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Vito Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alexandre Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Brodel was a little too slow when Vito Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-6. When Alexandre Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Borala FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Cardozo couldn't finish the play. Hinterhoff Futebol Clube's Erik Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Ortiz in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Borala FC booed when Hinterhoff Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vito Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Brodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hinterhoff Futebol Clube's Vivaldo Mattos got a free kick in the 80th minute. Vito Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erik Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Vito Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Erik Brodel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Mattos in the 96th minute of play forced Borala FC's goalkeeper Enrique Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandre Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. Borala FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
