Luís Fernando de Queirós started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otávio Tinoco in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Otávio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guzolândia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Guzolândia FC's Otávio Tinoco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeu Prata. Amadeu Prata yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Amadeu Prata made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Silvério Prado sent off a good shot on target. Amadeu Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otávio Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Otávio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeu Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Tinoco in the 26th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Otávio Tinoco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Amadeu Prata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Otávio Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Amadeu Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guzolândia FC. The supporters of Guzolândia FC booed when VIDAL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes in the game, Otávio Tinoco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amadeu Prata having to interfere. When Otávio Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Guzolândia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Tinoco couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvério Prado got free with Amadeu Prata in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Otávio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Silvério Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guzolândia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvério Prado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Otávio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silvério Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Otávio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guzolândia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otávio Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvério Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Prata read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Otávio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Otávio Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Prata having to interfere. Silvério Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Amadeu Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silvério Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Silvério Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VIDAL FC's Amadeu Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Tinoco in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the VIDAL FC defense, Silvério Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Prata. The VIDAL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Prata should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Guzolândia FC booed when VIDAL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Guzolândia FC's Fernandinho Brito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Amadeu Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Guzolândia FC fully deserved thier win.
