The ball had pretty good speed, but Reinaldo Valadares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 9 minutes into the game, one of D1 SportS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 10 minutes into the game, SÂO BERNArDO FC's Délio Valladares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaldo Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, D1 SportS's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Maranhense came free, but Reinaldo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, SÂO BERNArDO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Siqueira came free, but Christiano Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Joaquim Siqueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Peres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, one of D1 SportS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Reinaldo Valadares, was totally fooled by SÂO BERNArDO FC's Délio Valladares, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dorian Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Peres having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Bruninho Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SÂO BERNArDO FC's Christiano Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Bruninho Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christiano Peres. SÂO BERNArDO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruninho Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 38th minute, Claudinei de Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiano Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Carvalho in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Christian Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bruninho Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christiano Peres was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruninho Carvalho to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes in the game, Bruninho Carvalho fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christiano Peres having to interfere. Dorian Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Peres having to interfere. D1 SportS's Reinaldo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio de Moraes in the 68th minute of play. Christiano Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorian Travassos had several of the SÂO BERNArDO FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-5 score and a disappointed Christiano Peres as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bruninho Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Christiano Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Bruninho Carvalho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Christiano Peres, passed just outside the right post. 84 minutes into the match, D1 SportS's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio de Moraes came free, but Reinaldo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christiano Peres made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Bruninho Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. Vivaldo Maranhense's late challenge caught a D1 SportS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vivaldo Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SÂO BERNArDO FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vivaldo Maranhense hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes D1 SportS got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Siqueira. Délio Valladares struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Reinaldo Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÂO BERNArDO FC. A collision led to SÂO BERNArDO FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hermínio de Moraes hit a great ball. When Joaquim Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the D1 SportS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Siqueira couldn't finish the play. D1 SportS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
