The supporters of Guzolândia FC booed when Vista Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenílson de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Vista Verde were awarded a corner. Marcel Santana went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marcel Santana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this André Pontes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes into the match, Guzolândia FC's goalkeeper André Pontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juarês do Valle. Vista Verde's Pedro Fontes suffered a concussion in the 19th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Otávio Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr da Silva having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Frédson Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vista Verde and the Guzolândia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guzolândia FC booed when Vista Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmyr da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Tinoco in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Otávio Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Silvério Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Pontes made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Juarês do Valle sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Vista Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Otávio Tinoco came free, but Walmyr da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes Vista Verde got a freekick which was hit by Lenílson de Salles.

The wind increased when Otávio Tinoco made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Jardel Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vista Verde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guzolândia FC the free kick. After 76 minutes, Clemente Prata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guzolândia FC and the Vista Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcel Santana, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 84th play minute Silvério Prado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Walmyr da Silva. 0-1. 88 minutes into the match, Guzolândia FC's Otávio Tinoco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr da Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Guzolândia FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Prata. In the 91st minute, Marcel Santana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guzolândia FC's André Pontes didn't even have to move. Vista Verde's Juarês do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
