Fernandão Dante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Marques having to make a save. Enrique Martins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Barral in the 43rd minute of play. Dieguinho Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Martins. Enrique Martins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Enrique Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Nestor Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borala FC. 77 minutes into the match, Borala FC's Vito Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 78 minutes, Rodriguinho Rosado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Enrique Martins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Camaquam FC's Oséas Madureira got a free kick in the 84th minute. Dieguinho Breckenfeld scored 2-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Martins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vito Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Donato Barral made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Martins. Borala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The Borala FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Camaquam FC to win.
