A collision led to Os Brabos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. João Vítor Jacinto hit a great ball. Tomas Camerino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês do Valle in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Vista Verde's Rodriguinho Romero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomas Camerino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Anísio Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Os Brabos's Vítor Santana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 32 played minutes Os Brabos got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Santana. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Jacinto in the 35th minute of play forced Vista Verde's goalkeeper Walmyr da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anísio Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Fontes in the 54th minute of play forced Os Brabos's goalkeeper Tomas Camerino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vítor Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Os Brabos's Tomas Camerino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson de Salles in the 63rd minute of play. Luizinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Os Brabos got a freekick which was hit by João Vítor Jacinto. If Anísio Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Os Brabos's João Vítor Jacinto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walmyr da Silva. That made the score 1-3 after 78 minutes of play. 82 minutes into the match, Vista Verde's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Jacinto came free, but Walmyr da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 84 minutes on the clock, João Vítor Jacinto commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Os Brabos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vista Verde:s goal. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Vista Verde. Marcel Santana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomas Camerino. 2-3. Luizinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Camerino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédson Arruda in the 96th minute of the match. The Vista Verde fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Os Brabos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
