Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of SÂO BERNArDO FC booed when VIDAL FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SÂO BERNArDO FC's Délio Valladares tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. VIDAL FC:s Amadeu Prata showed great skill when he stopped Délio Valladares:s penalty. Amadeu Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Cunha in the 13th minute of play. Ademar Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Amadeu Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Cunha in the 18th minute of play. When Hermínio de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SÂO BERNArDO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio de Moraes couldn't finish the play. VIDAL FC's Amadeu Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermínio de Moraes in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, VIDAL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmyr Penha to maneuver through the defense. Marco Matos's late challenge caught a SÂO BERNArDO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Matos helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes VIDAL FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Matos. 34 minutes into the match, VIDAL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermínio de Moraes came free, but Amadeu Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeu Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Cunha in the 37th minute of play. Amadeu Prata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermínio de Moraes went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ademar Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Ademar Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Prata having to interfere. After a rather tough play, VIDAL FC's Walmyr Penha got a free kick in the 67th minute. Walmyr Penha's late challenge caught a SÂO BERNArDO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Prata acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Délio Valladares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Cunha in the 73rd minute of play forced VIDAL FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, VIDAL FC's Amadeu Prata got control of the ball when Hermínio de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rômulo Marinho got free with Amadeu Prata in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Ademar Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Amadeu Prata, 0-2. 91 minutes into the match, VIDAL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Cunha came free, but Amadeu Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hermínio de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Amadeu Prata made a huge save. Hermínio de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Amadeu Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÂO BERNArDO FC.
