In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Camaquam FC's goalkeeper Nestor Marques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Vivaldo Mattos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nestor Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedrinho Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
