After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oséias Valle to make the kick off. Oséias Valle's late challenge caught a Caravellas SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oséias Valle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 50th match minute, ASSOCIAÇAO ATLETICA TIJUK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Valle to maneuver through the defense. Lenílson Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. João Vítor de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Vergílio in the 60th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
