Eugênio Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Sá's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 22nd minute, Jarbas Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Geolandia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Silva hit a great ball. Edu Correia's late challenge caught a Solar Group FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Correia helped the player get up and apologised. Oséas Tinoco shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 29th minute, Luiz Fabiano Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Geolandia getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hudson Netto hit a great ball. Oséas Tinoco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes Solar Group FC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Leão. Eugênio Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jarbas Moreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enrique Salles. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Víktor Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solar Group FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitório Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vitório Alvarenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugênio Tasso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, André Luís Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solar Group FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geolandia the free kick. After 59 played minutes Solar Group FC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Leão. Eugênio Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play Geolandia's Edu Correia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Geolandia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Solar Group FC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Oséas Tinoco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Geolandia's Enrique Salles. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Moreira in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Víktor Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. Enrique Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Moreira in the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Víktor Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solar Group FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Víktor Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 100 minutes into the match, Solar Group FC's Jarbas Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Salles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Solar Group FC fully deserved thier win.
