An unexpectedly hard shot by Olavo Soares in the 14th minute of play forced Bad Boys FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Meira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Bad Boys FC's protests and gave Mané Negri a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Bad Boys FC got a freekick which was hit by Mané Negri. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Elias de Moraes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Elói Araújo. After a rather tough play, Bad Boys FC's Edu Favoretto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C Golden Dragons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Renatinho Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Elói Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Negri struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Elói Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bad Boys FC. Vito Montenegro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Elias de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Elói Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elói Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias de Moraes in the 93rd minute. Bad Boys FC's Luís Guilherme Prata was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elói Araújo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
