Canutão Borges FC's Emanuel Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Canutão Borges FC from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute Sandro Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palmas FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
