Filipe Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Oliveira Castro's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Mattos came free, but Romário de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renatinho de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Filipe Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The Oliveira Castro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pereiro's performance. The match ended with a win for Pereiro.
