Dinei Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Cordeiro in the 38th minute of play. Recordacao's Sidney Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Recordacao from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Ferreira in the 74th minute of play forced Recordacao's goalkeeper Sidney Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes, Durval Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Sá - ADEUS MZ and the Recordacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to De Sá - ADEUS MZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Humberto Tavares hit a great ball. If Roberto Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Rafinha Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Sá - ADEUS MZ and the Recordacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Recordacao's supporters rose to their feet, but Lúcio Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Donatello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luisão Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinei Donatello having to interfere.
