Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Perivaldo Torres got the match started through his kick off. Válter Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Baltazar Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Váldson Sabóia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nesca10 FC's goalkeeper Alan Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Catole's Váldson Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Abraão in the 11th minute of play. Váldson Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Cardoso in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Válter Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Cardoso took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Váldson Sabóia. Váldson Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Váldson Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Abraão in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Catole's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Quirino came free, but Váldson Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltazar Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Sandrinho de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nesca10 FC the free kick. A collision led to Catole getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sandrinho de Queirós hit a great ball. Alan Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vânderson de Moraes in the 32nd minute. Válter Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Nesca10 FC's Baltazar Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Váldson Sabóia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nesca10 FC's goalkeeper Alan Guerra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vânderson de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perivaldo Torres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan Guerra having to make a save. If Baltazar Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Catole's Vânderson de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alan Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Perivaldo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Guerra having to interfere. Alan Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Luiz Fabiano Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vânderson de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Catole fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vânderson de Moraes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Nesca10 FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bruno Quirino hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Catole's Gilson Pena tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Nesca10 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Quirino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Válter Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nesca10 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Válter Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Váldson Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alan Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st match minute, Catole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Baiano to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Nesca10 FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Sergipano. Válter Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Váldson Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nesca10 FC played a much better game than Catole and deserved their victory. The Catole players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
