C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toninho Bertassi. When Cavalcante F. C.'s Cícero Amaral in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Telmo Bertassi guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Capixaba in the 45th minute of play forced Cavalcante F. C.'s goalkeeper Toninho Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
