José Maria de Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas de Barros made a kick off. Angicos SC's Eduardo Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Linares in the 53rd minute of play. Sandrinho Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas de Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Angicos SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Rafinha Linares scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Toledo, making the score, 0-1. Rafinha Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eduardo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Toledo having to make a save. Ruy Prado's late challenge caught a Angicos SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruy Prado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tacare's Ruy Prado got a free kick in the 84th minute. Zé Pedro Dantas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eduardo Toledo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 87 minutes into the match, Wesley Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Toledo. Angicos SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jonas de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Cunha having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafinha Linares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eduardo Toledo. That made the score 0-4 in the 93 minute of play.
