Vivaldo Paraíba hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Doni do Nascimento, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Eduardo Toledo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 18th match minute, Red Dragon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas de Barros in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgílio Bezerra saved Red Dragon from getting behind. The supporters of Angicos SC booed when Red Dragon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jonas de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Angicos SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas de Barros couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Juninho Negri from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Eduardo Toledo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bernardo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eduardo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angicos SC's Eduardo Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Pimenta in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Bernardo Pimenta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eduardo Toledo. The goal made the score 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Pimenta made a kick off. Valdemar Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Toledo having to interfere. Valdemar Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olívio Varela struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Eduardo Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Dragon. Eduardo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Valdemar Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eduardo Toledo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rdth minute of the game Bernardo Pimenta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angicos SC's Eduardo Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jonas de Barros could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Virgílio Bezerra however easily saved by the left post. Bernardo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Valdemar Moura came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Red Dragon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Moura couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Bernardo Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando da Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eduardo Toledo. Angicos SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdemar Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Red Dragon had played much better football throughout.
