When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Diogo de Toledo sped through Angicos SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eduardo Toledo. If Diogo de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, FloripaSlayers's Diogo de Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alex Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Toledo having to interfere. Jonas de Barross short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Valdo Pirani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the match, Angicos SC's Guto Garcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdo Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angicos SC's Eduardo Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo de Toledo in the 38th minute of play. When Diogo de Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FloripaSlayers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo de Toledo couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Angicos SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diogo de Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eduardo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FloripaSlayers's Alex Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FloripaSlayers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angicos SC the free kick. After 80 played minutes FloripaSlayers got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Brito. Diogo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Eduardo Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Adilson Teles fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Angicos SC's protests and gave Adilson Teles a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Angicos SC got a freekick which was hit by Adilson Teles. It was a brilliant solo performance by FloripaSlayers's Benê das Neves when he shot the ball into the net to 1-3 in the 92nd minute. Alex Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded FloripaSlayers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Angicos SC.
