Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antônio Queiroz took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei da Silva in the 4th minute of play forced Comandante's goalkeeper Gino Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Comandante's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei da Silva came free, but Gino Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Comandante defense, Claudinei da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gino Tróia. The Comandante fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gino Tróia should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Comandante's Ediberto Jacinto threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antônio Queiroz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gino Tróia came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mutum SS's Flávio Barreto. But to his dismay, Flávio Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Antônio Queiroz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 19 minutes, Nicolas Valadares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Comandante and the Mutum SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Comandante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Valadares to maneuver through the defense. Gino Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ediberto Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Faria in the 26th minute. When Nicolas Valadares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Nicolas Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Flávio Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mutum SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Flávio Barreto made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mutum SS's Claudinei da Silva got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Claudinei da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gino Tróia made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Mutum SS's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Faria came free, but Ediberto Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Comandante's Frank Lago got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gino Tróia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinei da Silva in the 60th minute. Flávio Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinei da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Gino Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Comandante fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute, Andrézinho Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes Mutum SS got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Vinhas. When Frank Lago came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Comandante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Lago couldn't finish the play. Ediberto Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Lago in the 80th minute of play. Gino Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flávio Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mutum SS's Ediberto Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Faria in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Andrézinho Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ediberto Jacinto. Mutum SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrézinho Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 90 played minutes Comandante got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Ferreira. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Andrézinho Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Comandante's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrézinho Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediberto Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Comandante getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Frank Lago hit a great ball. After 96 minutes, Flávio Barreto made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Comandante's Gino Tróia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 98 played minutes Comandante got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Queiroz. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mutum SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
