Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 4 minutes, Wágner Arce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fronteiro and the Rocketships players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Fronteiro got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Arce. 5 minutes into the match, Fronteiro's goalkeeper Willian Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Tasso. If Ediberto de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Fronteiro's Wágner Arce got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Ronaldão Valladares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willian Dias skillfully saved the ball. Benjamim Tasso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Willian Dias made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Fronteiro's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Medeiros came free, but Willian Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes, Inácio Vinhas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fronteiro's Willian Dias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Willian Dias came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Rocketships's Benjamim Tasso. But to his dismay, Benjamim Tasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rocketships's Gilvan Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Mandrak in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 played minutes Rocketships got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Couto. The crowd rose to their feet as Rocketships's Giuseppe Paranaense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Willian Dias. That made the score 3-0 after 33 minutes of play. Luiz Guilherme Baptista was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. 4-0 came through a penalty shot after 38 played minutes, when Rocketships:s Ronaldão Valladares calmly waited for Fronteiro:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. In the 40th minute, Benjamim Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocketships fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Willian Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Vinhas in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gilvan Campidelis made a huge save. A collision led to Fronteiro getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Sílvio Luís Mattos hit a great ball. Robinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Campidelis having to interfere. The supporters of Rocketships booed when Fronteiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Fronteiro's Robinho Paranaense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gilvan Campidelis. Gilvan Campidelis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. When Rocketships's Benjamim Tasso in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fronteiro's goalie prevented a goal. When Álvaro França fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fronteiro's protests and gave Álvaro França a yellow card for diving instead. Hélder Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robinho Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Campidelis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Tasso in the 81st minute of play forced Fronteiro's goalkeeper Willian Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fronteiro's Renatinho Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Fronteiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Cosme to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Fronteiro defense, Inácio Vinhas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Willian Dias. The Fronteiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Willian Dias should have stopped the shot. Rocketships's Gilvan Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Rocketships from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Renatinho Mandrak made a precise shot to the right of Gilvan Campidelis. Rocketships's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Fronteiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
