Carlos Alberto de Barros didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Valfenda's Zeca Costa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Valfenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diamantino Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Carandahy defense, Zeca Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto de Barros. The Carandahy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Alberto de Barros should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Agnaldo da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Alberto de Barros. Carandahy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Agnaldo da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto de Barros having to interfere.
