After 15 minutes of play, Tibi FC's Jacinto Abraão made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inácio Machado made a kick off. Kaká Custódio charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Abraão couldn't finish the play. Tibi FC played a much better game than Tulhas and deserved their victory. The Tulhas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
