Ermidinha's Hamílton Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano de Amorim in the 13th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Sílvio Luís Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ATIVE FC's Raí Castro in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ermidinha's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Pontes to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ATIVE FC's Allan Negri got control of the ball when Betinho Donatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Guga Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ermidinha's protests and gave Guga Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. 52 minutes into the game, one of Ermidinha:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ATIVE FC a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raí Castro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ermidinha's Hamílton Rosa. 4-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raí Castro in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamílton Rosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamílton Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raí Castro in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to ATIVE FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Igor Loureiro hit a great ball. Waldemar Pontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raí Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Geovani Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Negri made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Betinho Donatello sent off a good shot on target. In the 84th minute Waldemar Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Ermidinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Souto to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Guga Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Negri skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, ATIVE FC's Kauã Nunes got a free kick in the 95th minute. Kauã Nunes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 99 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute, one of ATIVE FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ATIVE FC. The corner led Ermidinha's Betinho Donatello to fire away a dangerous shot which Allan Negri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ermidinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ATIVE FC.
